The star block swap is done!
The rest of the blocks got here at the middle of last week and I repackaged them and sent them out at the end of the week.
Click here if you want to see how it’s made
We were 6 participants, so everyone made 2 for each person and they kept the 2 for themselves.
Here’s a set in winter colors, blues and greys.
Eggplant, yellow and a hint of red
Brights!
Pink, black and light green
Christmas colors
and mine
French Country- light blues and yellows
Here’s the layout idea I think I will do, maybe I’ll change the outer border, don’t know yet. It should be 45” x 58”
Hope everyone had as much fun as I did!!
Thanks to all the ladies who participated and the little bonus we all got!
Gorgeous blocks. What pretty quilts they will make! They look like a lot of work, but such nice results!
These are beautiful Bea! For some reason I never saw this when you started it. Maybe that's a good thing – I have too much on my plate right now anyway. But I just love these blocks! I downloaded the template for later – thanks for sharing!!!
Wow, I never saw this when you started it either. They are gorgeous!Wish I wasn't so far behind on my blog reading now 🙁
Thanks again for hosting us Bea! I had a great time :o) I'm hoping to get my post done here soon – before the Thanksgiving rush hits at least! I like the snow sashing too, it just brings everything together!
Gorgeous blocks. They are all beautiful.
I am late in reading this, but I had fun. I am glad we extended the due date a bit. I appreciate you posting a photo of each set, they all look lovely. I will work on it after the holidays. Thanks to you and all the other participants.
