I finally finished the embroidered OWL quilt!

I quilted this quilt with Connecting thread’s Newest Variegated thread.
This one was “luck o’ the Irish”
It went from green to white, and was fun to see on the embroidered blocks as I went around the motifs in ripples.
I did a loopy design on the inner border and a leaf vine in the outer border.

I started pulling fabrics for my Embroidery Frames quilts and ran out of time this morning. I was going to take them with me and cut in a waiting room this morning. Glad I did. I totally changed my mind a couple hours after that. I need to measure my Accuquilt folkart fowl to see if they will fit in there (some blocks will have two.) I'm going a different route with the chickens/rooster idea.I would probably get two spools of denim blues (maybe even 3) and a toasted carmel if I won. Pretty pretty!
