I’ve had some machine embroidery fun lately!

I had it stitched out on white a while ago and I’m working on a quilt pattern for embroideries but for ANY embroidery, wait and see 
So I had this owl to work with and made an ON POINT block.
My daughter got invited to a birthday party next weekend to one of her class mates and she’s been to this girl’s birthday several years in a row now and I’ve sewn her lots of THINGS already!- stuffed owl, portfolio, a skirt and I can’t remember what else.
I asked her mom what her favorite colors were and when she said aqua/blue I thought of this block and to turn it into a pillow!
So I found more scraps of matching fabrics and added strips to the block, then quilted it and trimmed it.
sewed a backing on it and stuffed with a pillow shape
