Are you looking for a project that you can mindlessly work on between projects?
I was recently and came up with this pattern, it’s called Never Ending Story!
Finished sizes: 39” x 45”, 51” x 63”, 75” x 87”
I created the pattern for 3 sizes and I made the middle sizes one here!
The blocks finish at 6″ so of course I used my 6″ QUBE set but as always the pattern includes rotary cutting instructions
With scraps it’s so much fun and FAST to use the Accuquilt dies, so if you’re considering getting a qube set, a pattern like this will save you lots of time!
The pattern uses 2 colors in light and dark, here I chose light and dark purple because my scrap bins in those colors were overflowing!
and then light and dark green
It’s a LOT of pieces! but if you work on them between projects and because they are scraps, each block is different and just fun to see how it turns out!
here’s one example of a block layout, so everything is cut in sets of 4 or 8 so each block has the same fabrics in it
Here’s several rows of them sewn together!
and the top
then adding borders
And the whole quilt all done! I didn’t have any purple yardage for binding so I found this black and white striped fabric that I had JUST enough of for the binding, so that was perfect!
Look at all the fun blocks!
You can get the pattern here and today only it’s on sale for $6!
