It’s the beginning of the year and that means I start planning my blog hop in march that’s been an annual tradition for maybe 5 years? I lost count and have lost some pictures since I got my new laptop.
Anyways, the theme for the blog hop is “Dust off a quilt book” which can mean anything, really, I came up with the idea because I think I’m no the only who has a bunch of quilt books because of “that one pattern!” and then it’s been on the shelf ever since, so it’s time to flip thru those old quilt books and make something! It doesn’t have to be “that one pattern” it can certainly be inspired by it, or you can pick something else from the book and make something, it doesn’t have to be an exact copy, you can make a block and turn it into a quilt or make a mini quilt or maybe pick the color combination of a quilt in the book.
The only 2 rules I have for the blog hop is to SHOW the book and page that inspired you and then make SOMETHING and try to finish it 🙂
