I can finally show you this adorable baby quilt I made as a Michael Miller ambassador and this time I picked the fabrics!!
As an ambassador for MMF, they sent us first a welcome box which I’ve shown before
and in February I made a 2 1/2″ pinwheel quilt and made a pattern called pinwheel pop
and then for march I got to choose what fabric line I wanted to play with and it’s really hard because they are all so cute, but I decided on
Makes me almost wish I had a little baby girls again! but no….. 4 kids are enough and 3 of them are girls!! 😉
anyways I designed this in EQ and turned it into a pattern too called “Baby Stars” that you can now buy here!
and here’s the quilt all made up!
The quilt measures 44″ x 44″
and you can get the pattern here
here’s some close ups of the blocks and quilting
The babies on the rattles are just adorable!!
The backing is a nice matching turquoise and the binding is the pink stripe I used for the inner border as well.
Batting inside is warm and natural of course 🙂
Of course I used Accuquilt dies for this quilt! the 6″ and 12″ QUBE sets!!
Here’s some pictures of how I made it.
I used Accuquilt dies (12″ and 6″ QUBE) but also provide rotary cutting in the directions.
It’s a fun pattern, try it here
also see the link and see pics of my “testers”
thanks to my testers and thanks to MMF for #makingitfun !
Wow, this is beautiful Bea. As you know I also sew different star quilts just now. Yours are so interesting.
I love your strip inner border and binding. Your pattern is so cute!
Thanks stripes are great for binding
