I had a fun time at the Pittsboro Street fair last Saturday, Solveig went with me early in the morning to help set up, here’s the booth all ready
I later moved some things around because the guy next to me had some displays out in the front that obstructed the view of half my booth coming from that direction!
(I did okay, not super great, but it was worth it and I had a good time and I’ll do it again!!)
Solveig helped set up and then pretty much disappeared with her friends most of the day- I had asked to be next to her friend’s mom (who sell’s homemade soaps) and there were other girls too.
In the afternoon Dan came with the kids and Sonja ended up staying with me until the end and hung out with me and also Solveig and all the girls.
Forgot to mention that she got inducted into National Junior Honor’s society last week! (so proud of her!!)
I did manage to sew a bit and finished this Women of the bible block- this is “woman with issue of blood” of course had to use red.
And I got some goodies in the mail this week.
Here’s my October’s pincushion(s) from Darlene (quiltshopgal)
she machine embroidered these two pincushions for me
And I got this blue one from Janora for November
it’s funny, they both arrived on the same day!! ha ha
Thanks ladies for them!
Looks great! Glad you are happy with the day.
I'm glad you had fun at the craft fair and thought it was worth it:) You'll have to get your DH to make you a rack to hang even more of your quilts. Like the one I use at the shows for my runners.
Looks like a fun way to spend your day!
I never have much luck with selling things but glad you had fun and did good. Your booth looks great. Wonderful gifties in the mail.
