scrappy chains

If you know me well, you would have guessed that I have a lot of blocks done! and you’d be right Smile I’m almost done with the blocks!!

still have the border rectangles to sew together 2 and 2.

I found that when I used these as leaders and enders, I wanted to sew the squares together for the 4 patches all at once for one block (so 4 x 2squares together) and often I’d throw in the square for the HST too just to keep it together, then go to the iron and iron my project I was working and continue, so next time I ironed I ironed 4 halves of the four patches and cut the slit in the HST blocks and ironed those and trimmed, so it was easy to get ahead!

Have any of you worked on them?

  1. Your scrappy Christmas quilt is really pretty as is your table runner. Sonja is soon going to be quilting like her mommy. Very sweet!L oved those scissor holders too. The owls look great.

  2. Those scissor holders are so cute – such a great Christmas present and the scrappy quilt is so nice. All the best with the studio tour.

  3. LOVE your strippy quilt! Looks like you're going to have some quilting help in a few years. ; ) By the way, I took the plunge and purchased EQ7. Joanne's has it on sale online for $119.69 plus I got free shipping. How could I pass up that deal? Now I'm just hoping I'll be able to figure out how to use it. Still waiting for it to ship.

  4. How do u like the EQ Stitch? For digitizing ? Love your stripped Christmas quilt. You astound me with all you get done.

  6. How do you like the essential threads? Do you piece or machine quilt with them? I find them to be very linty.
