The color for July is RED!
My red bin is full, not overflowing but okay full, but not many large chunks, so I didn’t get to do ALL the monthly blocks but here’s just a few
I now have 8 solid Washington Puzzle blocks, I love that these are tiny! I showed plans last month for them but I’m not really sure about these yet, I might just keep going or do a bunch more one day if I feel like it.
Next is the Chines Lantern block with black background, I have 7 so far
I think I want to do something like this as the final quilt. Maybe smaller, we’ll see.
Then Chimney Sweep blocks, I have 8 so far, I’m not totally in love with any of the ideas I showed last month, so I don’t know what I want to do yet.
Finally I had enough scraps to make Morning Star, it’s an odd block and I’ve never managed to get the block to lay flat. I don’t have any ideas for these blocks yet either.
Lastly, is 7 Storm at sea blocks with grey background
I’m sort of leaning toward making this layout, because the blocks look like they are floating.
I’ll show more blocks next week 🙂
