I’m scheduling this post ahead of time so these numbers might have changed since then, but anyways…
I’ve been making masks and selling them on FBÂ and Etsy and got flooded with orders (I was actually surprised)
This is what they look like wearing them
I think I counted 160!
and this is my fabric stash now! Not much left! I do have some FQ bundles but have cut into even some of those already too! and I had scrap bins thinned out and project bins emptied if I have only planned quilts but didn’t cut into yet, then I took those out and cut into that yardage too!
I have maybe 20 or so masks “prepped” but not finished, I’m sure I’ll finish them before this post goes live!
Amazing that you have made so many. They look wonderful too. I have made some as well and tried to get my scrap bin to go down.
Wow, I am mpressed, that is a ton of them! DH thought I should make and sell also, but I didn’t enjoy making them. You rock!
Wonderful! I have sewn around 25 masks (slightly different from yours), for family and coworkers. I can see how you were flooded with orders because our state (Pennsylvania) requires you to wear a mask now to go into any retail store. I’m just sewing them out of necessity to help out. But I am glad for you that you were able to reduce your stash and make some money in the process! It pays to know how to sew!
Wow, so may masks! All pretty. I like how you have the binding around all sides.
