Modern dresden quilt

In case you didn’t see it yet, I made a modern Dresden’s quilt for Accuquilt’s blog

quilt

I used both the 8” QUBE and companion set and the Dresden die!

Right now their companion sets are 50% off!!

so get them while you can

and if you don’t have the QUBE set here’s the link

and of course the dresden plate too, which is awesome, it has both the straight sided dresdens and the petal dresdens plus the center circle!

here’s some more pics of the process of how I made the quilt as it sort of just grew as I made it, I didn’t have a plan at the beginning Smile

here I added the 2” squares (2.5”) from the 8” QUBE set

and then the chisels from the companion set

a fun modern quilt I think Smile

  1. I love this quilt. Your choice and use of fabric is amazing. The fabrics going from light to dark in neutral tones really makes this quilt amazing. The quilting is beautiful too!
