mini ohio star quilt

I’ve shown many pics of my mini ohio star quilt blocks

(from the Accuquilt serendipity set)

I’ve been working on these blocks for quite a while!

Finally I decided that enough is enough and I needed a plan, so I played in EQ8 and came up with this

it’s a 10×13 layout, as I had 10 colors of ohio star blocks

now I “just” needed to cut out and make 13 of each

here’s orange

and browns

red ones

grey

and black

then purple (quite a variety in these)

pinks also had variety

then yellow

I had enough of the blue and greens so didn’t take close ups of those

well following the EQ sketch, I sewed them all together into a top!

(without planning it too much, other than the diagonal)

then I used my 1 1/2” and 4 1/2” strip dies and added a skinny white border and a wider grey border, now it’s 60” x 75”
