Before Christmas I finished this mini hexagon quilt
it’s made using scraps and the half hexagon Accuquilt die
I quilted curves from corner to corner.
I love doing this on hexagon quilts because then it looks like circles!
I did a loopy design on the border and machine stitched the binding, I think this is my new favorite stitch for binding!
I didn’t bother making a label for the back for sewed in a tag I had that I normally use for stuffed animals or anything made on the embroidery machine.
Anja had to test out the quilt and it got her baby stamp of approval
and guess where Swiffer’s new favorite spot is?? On my ironing “board” I added this little EPP flower from Turid on him before taking a picture

Anja is adorable. I can tell she is already going to be a good quilt helper. (She seems to have your "eyes" in more ways than one.) Happy new year. Looking forward to what you'll be working on in 2017.
