Mickey Mouse is feeling better in this quilt

While I waited for my Juki long arm to get here, I was busy making quilt “kits” for myself or to sell. This is following my “feeling better” pattern

I used the snowball die from accuquilt and that finishes at 6″ so then I used the 12″ qube set and die shape #4 for the triangles in red and grey.

I then added the border, I had about 1yd of this cute Mickey Mouse fabric, so after I cut the snowball blocks I figured out how much border fabric I needed and cut it accordingly, my original pattern had cornerstones on the outer border, but I was able to just use a WOF.

Here it is all quilted on my new JUKI!

I did a pantograph (forgot the name, but it’s a more edgy meandering design and I think it worked well on this quilt)

It measures 38″ x 38″ so a bit smaller than my pattern.

I only have one tiny mistake on here where I didn’t line up the panto perfectly, actually the machine turned off and I hadn’t saved the design or size when I re-started so I had to “wing it” and got pretty close! and I remembered to adjust the stitch length to 8 stitches per inch I think.

Again I tried to do a fun photo of it folded

and here it is rolled up loosely.
