I made this pin cushion Christmas tree from hexies, using the new GO die and 3 sizes of hexagons. Sewed them together into grandmother flowers then added another hexie and the green outer hexies folded in half to attach to the extra hexagon. ( I think I saw this in McCall’s)
Then I stuffed them with fiber fill
Then found a star button and some embroidery floss
Starting from the bottom I sewed thru all 3 pillow and thru the button holes and back down and just tied a knot at the bottom (pretty tight)
and VOILA! a Christmas tree pin cushion
