Memorial Day is to remember those who served in our military to protect our liberties and gave the ultimate sacrifice!
Thank you!!
I know for many it means having a BBQ and maybe shop some sales. It’s such an odd thing to do, isn’t it, to celebrate someone’s death?
I don’t know anyone who had a loved one die in war.
I know a few vets and some who are/were in the service but never deployed, like my husband who was in the Marines but never went to war. My father in-law I think was in the Korean war or the war between Korea and Japan before the US got involved, I’m not really sure.
I do have a sale going on too, but I feel bad having it….
Get 20% off this weekend until Monday on EVERYTHING in the shop by entering “memorialday” as a coupon code!
-sale ends Monday at midnight
I’m fortunate to have veterans in every war since the revolution. I have lost one or two, but in the past, and I didn’t know them. All my veterans survived. Don’t feel bad about the sale. Sales are as American as it gets, and that’s what veterans serve and even die to protect … our right to live American lives … even sales. =) And I’m a veteran, too.
