I found this online and thought it was a good explanation of Memorial day and Veteran’s day (and Armed forces day- which doesn’t seem to be highlighted as much as the others- well it’s not a day off at least)
I can’t imagine what it would be like to be a parent or a family member of a soldier who went to war or combat to defend this country and then died, that’s a great sacrifice!
To die for your country!
But Jesus died for all sinners that we may have everlasting life!!
I’m very Blessed to live in the country of the free and brave and to have religious freedom.
