My good friend from Florida had her oldest daughter Maddie get married, it was postponed from April to Mid December but this time we couldn’t go. I’ve known Maddie since she was 11 years old! I worked with her mom when we lived in FL over 20yrs ago.
For Maddie’s wedding, I had planned this quilt and ended up making it and mailing to her and her husband a few weeks ago!
It’s 72″ x 96″
It’s so big I couldn’t even get a nice picture of it! They loved it π
I also turned it into a pattern and have it in 3 sizes- the same amount of blocks but the blocks are either 6″, 8″ or 12″ finished, this quilt for Maddie is made with 12″ blocks, of course all with Accuquilt dies!
I had asked earlier in the year (way before April) what her favorite colors were or bedroom decor and I got pictures and colors- teal/turquoise and brown. I also sent her mom Nancy (my friend/former co-worker) pictures to tease her π
