long arm quilting on customer’s batik quilt

I’m taking an early lunch break and figured I’d take some pictures of the customer quilt I’m working on today 🙂

My customer wanted feathers and circles (I’ve done this before on one of my own quilts and had a picture of it on my website here

This batik quilt is cool, these triangles in a square blocks are in 3 different sizes.

The feathers and bubbles look great in the largest block and the medium block.

Now in the smallest blocks I just did a row of bubbles in the dark parts of the blocks and left the light parts blank.

Hard to see the border design, I mimicked the branches on the fabric.

Then a row of bubbles on the skinny border

the branches are easier to see on the back- here it is roller up

Aren’t they CUTE??? love the tone on tone for the body and then the eyes sticking out like that 🙂
