I’m taking an early lunch break and figured I’d take some pictures of the customer quilt I’m working on today 🙂
My customer wanted feathers and circles (I’ve done this before on one of my own quilts and had a picture of it on my website here
This batik quilt is cool, these triangles in a square blocks are in 3 different sizes.
The feathers and bubbles look great in the largest block and the medium block.
Now in the smallest blocks I just did a row of bubbles in the dark parts of the blocks and left the light parts blank.
Hard to see the border design, I mimicked the branches on the fabric.
Then a row of bubbles on the skinny border
the branches are easier to see on the back- here it is roller up
This morning I received a link from someone who made a set of the owl potholders I made a tutorial for. have a look here
Aren’t they CUTE??? love the tone on tone for the body and then the eyes sticking out like that 🙂
Thanks so much for the link to my owl pot holders Bea! I decided to send them to my oldest son and daughter-in-law as a little surprise.Love the quilting you are doing, especially the branches!!! TFS~Terry~
