I finished quilting a customer’s batik quilt and this thing was HUGE!!
After the first pass or not even, I knew it was crooked a bit, it often happens when a quilt is so BIG and you’re adding the borders, the weight of the quilt can easily pull down, so the borders were a bit skinnier in a way than the top, so that meant that each corner was bowing inwardly a bit, I did the best I could and it was fine overall except for that and once it was all set and done, you couldn’t tell.
The quilt measured 94″ x 103″ and I couldn’t even take a good picture of it, it was that BIG!
I quilted “Pansies” all over it in a lavender thread
It was still a fun quilt to quilt, I thought I’d get wrinkles or folds at the end, but it worked out fine apart from curving a little inward at the bottom again just like the top!
