Late night blog post but couldn’t wait to show

I’m about to go to bed soon, but I just couldn’t wait to show you and I know some of you were anxious for me too!!:-)

TADA!!!

Here it IS…. Brother PR620! (used but new to me)

Pictures don’t do it justice, this thing is HUGE!

Here’s my first TEST- a small flower!

My own design -oh wait- shouldn’t show you that until Tutorial Tuesday- just wait and see.

A close up of combining the flower and letters

Now do you see my mistake??

there’s a double “I” oh well, it’s just for a quilt label, I don’t think I’m going to make a new one.

was hard to see that on the screen when I typed it. hmmm. lesson learned to DOUBLE check.

And look what this will be!?

try to guess before scrolling 🙂

A bird and a branch, it even had color changing in the middle of it so 8 colors total, now WHAT will I make with THIS block?? I don’t know….. we’ll see

Remember my Clean up post? well here’s some Go! dies I have, the triangle one I’ve used once for a quilt with FQs, but haven’t tried the tumblers yet.

Though I MIGHT use the small one for the scraps from this mellow yellow fabric line, we’ll see.

Did you know it was National Quilting day today

This one is ME now!! had to set up the embroidery machine in another room!

soon enough we’ll be knocking the wall down 🙂

  1. Wow Bea, beautiful bird and I can't believe you figured out how to use it that fast! How long did the bird take you to make? Your little label is cute. Take a permanent marker and make it look like a capitol letter!

  2. Bea, Your machine looks wonderful and you are right, it is so big! I still have to figure out how to get my small Viking Embroidery machine going. I got my EQStitch in the mail, and have to install it and get going. Have fun with your new machine.

  5. Very, very cool! It sounds like you are in love. It will be fun to see what else you do with it.

  6. Oh Bea…you make me want one of those soooo badly. The bird is amazing!!!

Hej Bea,tillykke med dit nye legetöj, jeg haaber at I bliver rigtig gode venner.Jeg glaeder mig til at se mere ☺

  8. I have a similar machine, so I can understand the size issue. I ended up keeping my embroidery machine and notions (thread/stabilizer) next to my laptop – and I have the machine plugged into my laptop, Make is so very easy to send designs to the machine. No USB drives, etc.

OMGosh! I didn't know embroidery machines were that fancy. You just have the best time ever with that.

  10. Beautiful machine embroidery. Your new machine and you look like a perfect partnership to create fun projects. Enjoy!SewCalGalwww.sewcalgal.blogspot.com

  11. BeaYou are going to love your machine. I have had one for 4+ years and really wonder if I could do without it now. I love, love, love it. Have you joined the PR600 yahoo group? We have members with machines from the first generation to the newest. What is good if you need answers there are members that usually have had the same questions/problems and we can help each other.
