I finally finished this english paperpiecing medallion quilt!
I can’t remember who sent me the pattern but I got the paper pieces from paperpieces.com and worked on this in the car for months, when we’d go to church, as hubby was driving
When it was done I pinned it to a white backing and stitched it down by hand and then machine stitched the blue border.
Fabrics are from connecting threads btw and the top measures 38” x 38”
I quilted outlined feathers on the border, then ITD on the white and curves from corner to corner on the medallion with tiny droplet feathers onto the background.
I pieces the backing from leftover reds and added a hanging sleeve and a small label.
Glad it’s done, it was a fun one!
This one is so so so beautiful! I love that you did it in Americana colors. This is quite a fantastic finish and then you add all that handwork into the equation. I love it!
Very cute!
