Here’s a pattern from Kaleidoscope quilts the smart way book.
I’ve made quilts from this exact pattern I think twice before and really love the look of it, the book and using this nifty smart plate template makes it easy and pie.
I bought this snowmen fabric and just had to make this quilt using that, I decided to also have the border fabric be right side up, but when I sewed it together, I did something wrong and suddenly my top border was too short, I didn’t want to piece it so I instead made the corner blocks, and noone would ever know, exept you right now. LOL. shhhh, don’t tell!
Also made the embroidered label and added a little squigglie thing at the bottom.
This is ready for a baby shower gift- for who? I don’t know, but I often get these invitations with less than a week’s notice, so it’s good to have one on hand 🙂
Now I need to make a girly one to have on hand too.
