I’m sure I’ve shown this Jelly roll race quilt top I finished a while ago, I only used a small roll, I guess it was 20 strips then the top was kind of too skinny, so I put it aside until I had a plan and one day I pulled it out and just added a wide white border on it, then contemplated if I should add applique or not.
I decided to just quilt it as is, and found a cute swirl on my QCT and alternated every other swirl and flipped them and also moved every other row over – and the quilt was loaded sideways.
and I started quilting, then this happened!!!
It looks like ovaries!!! LOL!! it must be the brown and tan fabric too that really makes it look like that too! I guess it could be ram horns too, but I can’t unsee the ovaries now!! and here I was thinking it would be a manly quilt! – Guess not!!
The back is made from a peachy fabric
I guess sideways, the ovaries don’t look so bad 😉
what’s done is done…. I still like it though, but it will forever be my ovaries quilt. LOL
The quilt measures 40″ x 58″
I have it listed here in my Etsy shop
You gave me a good laugh this morning, the quilt looks great!
Thanks for the good laugh!
