This is another block that uses the drunkard’s path dies from the old companion set, or you can use templates in the pattern.
You’ll need 8 blue #12 shapes, 4 pink #11 shapes and #3 triangles, then 4 white #3 triangles and 8 black #3 triangles.
Sew the drunkard’s path blocks together and again I find that it’s easier to press the seam toward the inner shape.
also sew the HSTs together with the #3 triangles as shown, 4 of each.
now sew the block sections together like this with the blue DP in the center and the black triangles facing out.
and then sew the block together like this (sorry about the bad picture but you get the idea hopefully)
the block is 12 1/2” x 12 1/2″, x 16 1/2″ x 16 ½”, 24 ½” x 24 ½” unfinished
