It’s my mom’s birthday and I made her a table runner

It’s my mom’s 70th birthday today!

(I can’t be with her-but wasn’t planning on it anyways, I was planning a trip maybe in August to see her, but we’ll see if that’ll even happen)

You may know she was sick and was in the hospital for just a day to be told she needs surgery but sent home because it’s not life threatening.

I have planned on sending her some other things, but then I finished this little table runner and figured she needed something bright in her life so it’s on the way- who knows how long it will take to get there!?

This was made once of those days where I wanted to make something quick, then looked in EQ and found these greek squares in a file and I turned it into a table runner.

Then I looked at the yardage needed and then what fabrics I actually have left! (Mask making has really, really depleted my stash!) so I had some yellows leftover and it the GO QUBE dies, I cut out these pieces and added white.

I used the 8″ QUBE and dies 1,3,4,5,8

I also had a scrap piece of batting that was a perfect fit!

I did a loopy design all over in yellow thread and added yellow binding as well.

Hopefully my mom will like it (why wouldn’t she, she’s my mom, she loves everything I make her!)

TILLYKKE MED DAGEN MOR!

  1. Love the table runner, Bea! I’m sure your mom will love it!
Glad to hear she didn’t have to spend a lot of time in the hospital!
