I finished a mini star quilt from scraps leftover from a quilt I made for Island batiks for Quilt market.
The fabric line is called “Imagine”- it’s just GORGEOUS with fish on the main fabric.
(It doesn’t really showcase the background fabric, but I still think it’s cute)
These star blocks are only 4”!!
and the block is actually “Sarah” from the Women of the bible BOW I’m part of…..
I quilted straight lines with the walking foot on my regular machine, I try to practice that still, even though I have the long arm machine, but it also looks kind of silly to have a small 16” quilt on a HUGE frame like that!
I used a purple floral that I don’t care for, on the back
and I have NO scraps left….!!
Just wait, now I can actually start making things with the batiks they send a few months ago, since they’ll be revealed at MARKET this month!!
just wait and see
That's really cute!
I"ll be at market maybe I'll spot it! Will you be there?
Beautiful. Great use of scraps too!SewCalGalwww.sewcalgal.blogspot.com
it is hard to imagine this quilt the blocks being so small how on earth you stitched this so beautifully when so tiny a real beauty
Well done, lovely work
