Island Batik Ambassador box #2

I can finally share!!

It all started when we started getting emails with the UPS tracking number, then the waiting began and a few of us on the East coast (there’s actually 3 of us in NC!) the original tracking showed a Monday delivery, then it changed to Tuesday- oh the horror! then it went back to Monday- phew!!

Then more waiting, we started teasing each other on FB about which one of us would get it first, and I think it was a matter of minutes between the 3 NC deliveries!

Here’s mine at 2.23pm!

-we recently got a NEST doorbell so it sent this notification to my phone- that’s actually me, as I heard the UPS truck and I jumped out to get the box!

I actually waiting a whole 24hrs before opening the box. I asked Sonja to help film it with my phone, then once Anja saw it she wanted to help and in the middle of the video my phone got an amber alert! (hope they find the missing child!) so anyways, the video is not the best, I tried 😉

Here’s the content of the box!

First is a FQ bundle of mermaid cove in these lovely beachy pastels!

then is a strip set with matching yardage called “Islander”

And next is a 10″ stack with matching yardage too called “Petal pushers”

 Then matching Aurifil threads

And more Hobbs batting and neutral yardage AND a Bear claw die from Accuquilt, that was ONE die I didn’t have that I had hoped for as I had seen 3 other dies in the other ambassador’s boxes and all the other dies I have already-lucky me, so this is a fun one to try!

Swiffer had fun with the paper from the box

And Anja had fun with the box and some IB ribbon, actually Swiffer was in the box first, but she kicked him out 😉

These goodies are so beautiful I don’t know where to start!

My August project is done and blog post is scheduled- as I’m going on vacation to Denmark for 2 weeks in starting this weekend!

September’s theme/challenge is “Child’s play” and we’re supposed to use the Accuquilt die, at least I think so and I’m planning on it anyways, I think I already have a plan with the Bear claw die and what fabrics to use! wait and see 🙂

Thanks to the sponsors! I feel so lucky and Blessed to have these connections of being an ambassador for them!

  1. Wow! That's a great box of goodies. Can't wait to see what you do with your new Accuquilt die! All those fun fabrics should be fun to play with.

  2. Such an amazing box of goodies! It was fun to see you two cuties open that box. :O)

  3. Connie Kresin Campbell

Beautiful fabrics Bea and love the photos of you and Anja! Have a wonderful time on your trip!

  4. Great video and photos, my kids always loved boxes too-cheap toys, LOL

  5. That's quite the video! I laughed many times but mostly especially at the non response to the Amber alert blaring! I know my language would not have made the video – and I do have those alerts turned off….too nerve wracking. I'm glad you got a die you don't want…AND I received not only the box but your goodies – all fabulous! The pincushion is so much fun!
