I’m teaching a quilting class!

Big NEWS!

I’m teaching a “crumb” quilt class at Capital Sew and Quilt in Cary

107 Edinburgh South Drive Suite 111
Cary NC 27511

On Sept 15th from 10am – 2pm

It’s “only” 4 hours, so it’s more of a technique class!

Here’s the quilt we’ll be working on!

snowball fight

It’s my pattern: Shelves full of yarn 42” x 60”

the blocks are made from “crumb” blocks in 9 different colors, which can be YOUR choice of course, I chose Red, Orange, Pink, Purple, Blue, Teal, Green, Brown and Grey, but you can do anything you’d like

Now mine was made using the snowball die by Accuquilt, but I’ll be teaching it with rulers Winking smile but feel free to bring your GO cutter and Snowball die if you have it! (I’ll be bringing mine) and then there’s matching scrappy nine patches too of course!

I’ll be emailing everyone the pattern close to the class date!

Here’s what you’ll need for the class:

Sewing machine and thread and bobbins and scissors.

Rotary Mat, ruler and cutter

OPTIONAL 6 1/2” ruler!

OPTIONAL: Snowball die by Accuquilt with mat and Machine (I’ll bring my GO BIG! and die)

White fabric : 1 3/4yd

Lots of scraps in 9 colors (see above) you can bring a zip loc bag of each color if you’d like, there could possibly be some fabric trading going on?? to create more variety, just depends on what colors everyone’s bringing!

Materials for later:

binding fabric 1/2yd (or make it scrappy like I did)

Batting 46” x 64”

Backing 48” x 66”

contact Capital Sew and Vac if you’d like to sign up

(919)377-1259

The class is $69.99

Should be fun! I’m super excited!!
