I’m not mellow! I’m having fun and staying busy

Here’s a preview of a “secret” quilt I’m working on- for McCall’s 🙂

The fabric line is called mellow yellow by Red Rooster here

they are just YUMMY- not mellow…

Now look what my AWESOME husband made me!!

(Hey, I have to kiss up a little, after all, I’m getting a fancy embroidery machine this week!!)

I showed him Connie’s blog from the blog hop and her giveaway was a ruler holder.

Then about an hour later he came upstairs with THIS!! what a guy!!

This is the Bible BOW- Woman of Endor

I really didn’t read much about her other than she might have been a fortune teller, the block is called wheel of fortune, well I don’t like stuff like that, so I picked my LEAST favorite fabrics from my bundle, I don’t like purple or orange, which actually go together really well.

I foundation pieced this block.

BTW I like the show Wheel of Fortune, if/when we watch it my husband keeps saying I should go on the show, as I’m fast at guessing the words, funny though as English is NOT my first language, but danish! I do remember watching it in Denmark when I was little, and I remember ONE time the finalist had to guess the word and had NO letters showing, my dad saw it and guessed the correct word!! in DK too, the show is a little different, they don’t get those starting letters like they do here, or maybe that’s a new thing? also when I was little, the money they earned, they had to “shop” for items in a showcase display, it could be a kitchen display or living room display, wonder if that was a tax law thing?hmm

Now I’m curious, going to ask my friends if that has changed now.
