I’m NOT Madonna :)

I got TWO packages from the UK this weekend!

One was a blog winning, some nice FQs and a tissue pouch and some insense.

another was from Chris, december’s pincushion! plus a cute little tree ornament and 4 LOLLIES 🙂 I don’t dare open them, they are SO cute, but I think once my kids find them, they’ll be gone.

I’m also working on easy street- just step #2 still, but I’ve done more today too.

Plus I’m working on a “secret” project for Connecting threads- a quilt, where I’ll have the pattern for sale there! the top is done….

 Sunday night was our Church’s Christmas party and talent show and I gave away a quilt to someone by doing a raffle. Our pastor introduced me and said in the quilting world I was famous like Madonna! LOL….. it was hilarious….THANKS!! 🙂

oh, and while I was picked out a name out of the basket, I bumped it and all the papers went flying everywhere…. Then we had our pastor pick the name instead and he picked a “lady” who is pregnant, and I had just told them a few months ago, that they were NEXT to have a baby- they have 2 kids the same age as my older 2.

This was the quilt I gave away, a sampler quilt, my own pattern where I taught a class in making this at our community college in 2011.

So now we “hope” it’s a GIRL!! we’ll see 🙂

otherwise I will make her a boyish quilt, her older daughter already eyed this one and asked who the quilt is for.
