Since I’m not doing much quilting/ sewing
I have been playing in EQ a little.
I am not sure if I showed these first two designs before, these were actually for the EQ challenge in July. If you have EQ7 and want to learn more, joining the monthly challenge here is a great way to get better. They post a “theme” – here it was birds, then you make 1 or 2 layouts and send it to them, at the end you get a copy of everyone elses files too and you can sit and figure out how they did it.
Here’s a boy and girl version of a buggy quilt with alternate star blocks.
Then I started playing with rainbow colors, here using 2 different diamond in a square blocks and coloring from the middle and out.
be reminded that it means the covenant between God and Noah and God won’t flood the earth again.
this is the layout before I colored it- totally different!
but looks neat in fall colors
or my favorite blue colors!
here I did a similar idea with just nine patches
(10 days to go)
