When I was an ambassador for Michael Miller I had designed this pattern called Forest Flowers for a new fabric line for them but with Covid, fabrics were REALLY delayed until now!
The fabric line is called “Everyone is invited” and I just loved the little animal “panels”
The finished quilt measures 31.5″ x 31.5″ and is made with the 6″ QUBE set but I always provide rotary cutting too!
This is what the “panels” look like. It’s not really panels but animals in circles and I sort of fussy cut them to fit into the 8″ squares (7.5″ Fin. blocks)
You can get the pattern here
Thanks to MMF for sending me the fabrics to play with!!
I love this Forest Flowers quilt! I have a dear Red Riding Hood fabric that has a black background and have been trying to figure out what to do with it. I like how you incorporated the lighter colors to keep the quilt from being too “dark”. I also really like your new BL188 pattern – I have 2 bright batik jelly rolls and haven’t figured out what to do with them. I think that pattern will be just perfect!
aww sounds great! please show the quilt(s) when you’re done!
