I know some of you expect a post daily and I HAVE been sewing every day.
I just can’t show much 🙁
Call me crazy! but I signed up for another block swap! this is a round robin swap, I’ve never done these so this should be FUN, this is my STARTER block then we all send it around and who knows how this will look when I get it back!? I picked pink and girly colors because if it looks GREAT when it comes back I’ll put it in the baby room.
I had wanted to make a kaleidoscope block and I had an EQ kaleidoscope CD from when I bought EQ6 but I couldn’t find it, I guess I never installed it when I got a new laptop in the fall, so after looking high and low I just made my own starting with a basic kaleidoscope block in EQ7.
THEN this package arrived in the mail yesterday and I had no clue what it was, I opened it up and saw batting and thought I had won a kit of some sort and then thought it was odd that it had tape on the batting, I was getting quite upset and if it was a kit the batting might be ruined…. then I saw this!! DUH!!, Brandie sent me this!! Her and I had started talking about this after my post about Nutella and I couldn’t find it in any stores near me, maybe in raleigh or cary but that’s almost an hour away and the stores I looked in didn’t have it, she said she should not tease a pregnant woman without sending a jar now, so she did! how cool is that!? I owe you big time 🙂
another FOOD related pic is this COOL pasta we got at costco, it’s naturally flavored and colored, I cooked up the solid bowties last night, they were pretty good! an expensive box, but fun! well I think it was $8.
another little sneak peak at the McCall’s quilt #2, I can’t show you the whole block, just this teaser 🙂 this one is paper pieced as you can tell.
another block is a pinwheel.
Back to sewing 🙂
Oh, does anyone have any suggestions for a free or cheap web host? I have this FANCY site and pay a lot for it, but really don’t NEED it, but I like the website name www.beaquilter.com
I would also like to add tabs to this blog and have my long arm pics on here and maybe just have the website link to here, I don’t know. I don’t want to give up the name and lose the domain name.

Wow! Busy lady! I love the beginning of your Round Robin piece and hope you enjoy your Biscoff spread! How nice was that?!?
Really nice starter block for the Round Robin. I'll get to think on that for a while as to what I'm going to add to it. No surprise that you did it in pinks.
I'm going to have to look up the "rules" on a round robin quilt… I'm curious! You might try Weebly, from what I've heard it's cheap and easy to use. You'll still have to pay the yearly fee for domain hosting, but it should help you save some money in the long run.
Looks beautiful Bea, love your kaleidoscope block! You can add tabs to the top of your blog by going to Layout – Pages.
