I am SEW excited to share this quilt with you!
It’s in McCall’s Quilting March / April 2020
This quilt is called “Eve”
When I got an email about the theme of the magazine issue being “Women’s history month” I thought of “Eve” right away.
She’s the first woman in the world, she started it all!
The fabrics are “Flour Garden” by Moda fabrics.
The blocks are 10″ and I used Accuquilt dies for it (which I told them about but they didn’t include it in the magazine!)
I used die shapes 2,3,4,5,6 and 8! that’s all the hints I can give you.
The blocks are “on point”
and with alternate blocks it looks like this!
remember this table runner I showed last year
I made that with leftover scraps…. hard to believe it’s the same line!! I like the EVE quilt much better 😉
I know two other people who have quilts in this magazine! Charisma and Connie K!
There’s some great quilts in it, you can get your own copy here or where magazines are sold!
So you submitted a quilt and they wrote the pattern for it? I thought the quilt maker also sent the instructions for them to put in the magazine.
Congratulations on being published again! It is a pretty quilt. And you are right, it is amazing how different the two quilts are even though they are made from the same fabric.
Nice work, Bea!!!
Thanks Heather!!
Congratulations Bea. Beautiful quilt
Congratulations! It’s a Bea-utiful quilt!
