One day, a lady called from hospice, saying they had a request for a custom quilt, a young father had passed and they wanted a quilt for the son ( my kid’s ages) made out of the dad’s clothes.
I asked for non stretchable shirts etc, but only a few were, so I stuck with a square pattern and just cut out and kept this demin shirt as the focus to keep them all together, I kept pocket and shirt logos etc as much as I could.
It was glady recieved 🙂 Not super pretty- but SUPER sentimental!
