Here kitty kitty and Hoot Hoot

I decided that I needed to make myself a kitty sunglass case.

So I picked out this red batik fabric (island batiks) and stitched it out on my embroidery machine. (100% in the hoop)

I bought the file at embroidery garden here a while ago (fits a 5 x 7 hoop)

While I was at it, I figured I’d make some more for my mom and her husband for Christmas (also thinking of SewCalGal’s challenge)

My mom loves angels

Then two skinny versions for regular glasses

all 5 of them together.

Sonja “adopted” my red kitty and walked around with it all day, playing with it and pretending it was biting or eating. She can stick her hand into it too like a glove.

I showed mine to a friend and she ordered one right away!

I also signed up for a craft show in October, so I went a little crazy making more kitties

Those turned out so sweet. I think they should be great for selling at the craft show.

Awe they are adorable. Is the craft show around here? I would like to go check it out.

You are always making the cutest things! Love those kitty cases :*)

  4. Oh, Bea, those are just the cutest cats! I've never made anything 100% in my hoop, but now you've got me wanting to try.

  5. They are adorable. I went to an embroidery social this evening and the gal who demonstrated said that if we are getting one item ready to hoop and planning on doing more, we might as well get them all ready at once. You did just that by making so many "while you were at it." 🙂

They are gorgeous! You chose beautiful fabrics to make them. My favorites are the grey cat and the brown owl. They should be popular at the craft show. 🙂

Those eyeglass cases are too cute. I particularly like the owls. I'm sure they will be pouplar at the craft show.
