Is it summer weather yet where you are at?? here in NC summer came sort of early, it went from nice mild weather to BOOM upper 90s!! (and with it several storms, the last one fried our printer! or maybe it’s just a coincidence?)
When I signed up for this blog hop, I knew I wanted to make something in yellow and I had all these ideas and plans, then life happened and I also had to design more quilt patterns for Accuquilt and Love-sew and my own things (not complaining at all!) and before I knew it, I had a week left and I had done NOTHING!! so I put on my thinking cap this weekend and came up with something that will benefit YOU!
In my online shop I not only sell my patterns and quilts, but I also sell embroidered things, like these owl pincushions!
the embroidery file is from Embroidery garden.
I often sell these at craft shows as pincushions or even kids like to hang them on their back packs on the zipper so I added the hanging tag, they can even be ornaments!
So for this YELLOW theme I made a yellow owl pincushion
I had some already made in a bin but they weren’t stuffed so I finished those up too, notice the one with red eyes, that was a “mistake” for an order but I kind of like it!
And here’s the whole gang I have so far but I can always make more!
For this week’s blog hop, I have FREE SHIPPING on these owls, just add freeshipowl as a coupon code at check out and it should take $3 off! (which is the shipping cost!) If it’s international, I think it just reduced the shipping cost by $3 🙂
During checkout you have the choice of body color and embroidery color etc. or you can put ANY and be surprised!
Thanks for Carol for hosting this hop, it’s always fun to hop around for inspiration!

What cute owls. Great pin cushions or on a backpack- so fun!
Super cute owls Bea.
Your owls are adorable. I’m in Fl and we had heat index of 108 here. I couldn’t live without my printer so sorry you lost yours. I really believe that when I retired more than missing the wonderful people I worked with for over 20 years I missed the huge printer that sat 30 feet from my desk,
Adorable owls. We have been in the 100’s too in No CA but it generally is a dry heat. Sorry your printer died.
Yes it is hot and humid here, although late yesterday it was very nice outside as a system went through. I haven’t stuck my head outside yet today so I don’t know it is stayed away;) Love the owls, so cute.
Your owls are so adorable!
I love the red eye owl too! LOL!!! Fun Fun Fun
They are all so cute, Bea! Love the red-eyed guy!
Very sweet owls.

Outstanding owl project! Thanks for sharing.
Cute owls. I kind of like the one with the red eyes.
I love your “parliament ” of owls. Far too cute to stick pins in.
Those are so darn cute!! I can see them on a backpack but the basket of many together makes me smile so much. Thanks for sharing an adorable summery finish.
These are too cute! I absolutely love embroidery and my mother recently acquired a machine. She and I just need to dive in and try it out!
These are so cute, my owl from you is hanging from my ceiling fan on the string. Makes me smile.
Love the owl!
These are super cute!
You owls are adorable and I do love the yellow one.
Cute owls, so festive. You did a great job on the machine embroidery.
