Hattie’s choice Kitty Table Runner in batiks

Since I’m not an ambassador for Island Batik anymore, I still want to use up whatever bundles of matching scraps I still have

so recently I used the new Hattie’s choice die by Accuquilt and cut out these pieces in the “Feline fine” collection by Island Batik and figured out I had enough to make a table runner.

I was able to make 3 blocks and quickly added a border, this border is just “wild”!

The top measures 14″ x 30″

I finished it before Christmas and put it aside, then finally now I got it out and quilted it.

This was the first time since I got my Juki, where I loosened the belts and did free motion on it, I did my “usual” curves on the blocks and then this leafy flame design on the border.

I found a half yard of this green dotted batik for the backing and I used the green “solid” for the binding too
