Happy Valentine’s day?
Do you go out on a date on Valentine’s or do you stay home and have a romantic dinner or nothing?
I don’t want to be in the crowds and to me Valentine’s day is not really about married couples, it’s about either couples who are dating or newlyweds, I’ve worked as a waitress many years on Valentine’s day and it’s TOUGH! I’ve quit TWO jobs ON VALENTINE’S day too because of the stress and the kitchen couldn’t keep up with the orders! It’s one thing to have a restaurant that can seat 100 people so maybe it’s 20-30 orders at a time, but on Valentine’s it’s 50 orders at a time and often it’s a special menu that the staff is not used to and the love birds don’t want to be rushed either, so it’s stressful on all parts, so if you go OUT tonight, tip a little extra!!
I have ONE sort of Valentine’s -ish pattern called Sweetheart – ok so it’s probably more of a baby quilt!
