Happy Valentine’s day!
The theme for Island Batik ambassadors for February is Mini LOVE, I really really wanted to be able to post something on Valentine’s so before my new box got here I dug out any pink and purple and white fabrics I had leftover from earlier projects.
I designed this in EQ8 (already exciting blocks in the library) I made the big heart 8” and the small hearts 2”
The BIG heart is for my husband!
The 4 little hearts are for my 4 kids 
The blocks were foundation pieced, so here’s some of the progress
I trimmed the small hearts, they are SO cute and tiny!
Then I finished the top like this and this was were I was at last week before I went back to Denmark.
I had already made the binding but after thinking about it, I just thought it still needed a small border so I added a 1 1/2” cut pink border all the way around
Here it is all done! now it measures 10” x 12”

(We usually don’t go out tonight, as it’s for young love birds, not couples with 4 kids!! ha ha, maybe we’ll make a nice dinner?? well we gotta eat, so of course we’ll make dinner, but not sure what)
And when I got home Monday night, several in the family were sick or getting over sickness, so…

What a perfect little quilt! I think going out on today is overrated, although a little acknowledgement is nice.
Beautiful Bea! I admit I'm still "young" at heart, Builder Bob got me a box of chocolates and a sweet card. We then went out for a early dinner and beat the rush. It was fun.
This is such a cute design and it holds so much significance. Will you be selling this pattern in the future? Hope all in your family are feeling better and that you stay healthy.
