I’m not Irish but I can still say Happy St. Patricks day with this fun shamrock table topper quilt I designed and made for Accuquilt!
It’s made using scraps and solid white and I used the 8″ QUBE shapes #2 and #5 and then shapes #3 and #5 and #16 from the 12″ QUBE set!
It goes together super easy
and soon I had 4 scrappy shamrocks like this
then I sewed sashing between the blocks and a trick to make sure to line up the block sections is to mark straight up from seams on the block and mark that onto the sashing as the blocks laying on top have the same seams to when I pin thru those points it goes together perfectly!
I couldn’t help myself from buying a shamrock pantograph file from urban elementz!
and VOILA! the quilt is done!
It measures 30″ x 30″ and you can get the free pattern on Accuquilt’s site
Lovely table topper!
I got so distracted that I forgot St.Patrick’s Day! Lots going on in life right now. Take care and Love this.
