Grand Illusion is done

I finished the Grand Illusion quilt! YAY!

DSCF3505

I quilted feathers and swirls all over it, after fixing my machine and getting my tension right I wanted to do a design that I do often and that COULD cause problems, and there were NONE on the back! yay.

the binding is the dark blue fabric (that was the black in the mystery)

I did a scrappy backing, I had this blue paisley and a solid turquoise that I added as a stripe in the middle.

Congratulations Bea on a beautiful finish! Yours has to be the neatest one I have seen, great color choices! I'm glad your sewing machine tension is fixed too.

  5. I love it! Glad you hear your machine is fixed. Knock on wood, I have had very few tension issues with my longarm. But when I do…arrrrgh! LOL!!
