Last week I got this box of goodies from Island Batik!
In our Ambassador group on facebook I had seen pictures pop up, first it was just one, then the next day it was quite a few – fellow ambassadors showing pictures of their box of goodies! so at dinner time I figured that I would have to WAIT another day, but then at 5.30 the doorbell rang and it was the fed ex truck! I flew out of my seat and yelled- oh it’s my batiks!!
My husband tried to wrestle the box away from me saying he wanted to open it but I opened it quickly and then he started going UHH And AHHH and WOW, no way!- in a mocking tone while I looked thru the fabrics! LOL
Still he WAS impressed, and commented that it’s a lot of FREE fabrics!
Meanwhile I’m trying to catch up a BIT on my “old” batiks now and I did make a small ohio star pincushion for accuquilt’s blog
it’s made using two dies from the serendipity set
The pincushion was so cute and fun and TINY! that it makes me want to play with the dies some more!
