I recently finished this girly version of Honor a Veteran quilt
Honor a veteran is usually a scrappy quilt and it’s ON POINT and I made mine using the 8″ QUBE set
It measures 34″ x 45″
I used this peach mottled fabric, solid white and then a yellow princess fabric, I didn’t have quite enough of it so I added another yellow for certain parts of the block and I love the way it looks!
This is what the original pattern looks like.
For the back of the quilt I used another peach fabric and then a floral quilt design
I have the pattern on sale TODAY ONLY and KITS as well!!
The pattern is normally $10 but TODAY it’s $8
The kit I made up for all 3 sizes using the Spring farm animal fabrics, I picked the chicken fabric and the brown chicken wire and solid beige, really cute and girly!
The small kit finishes at 23″ x 23″ (So really a table topper size?)
Medium KIT finishes 34″ x 45″
And the large KIT finishes 57″ x 79″
Normal price $112 TODAY $90 (I only have enough fabrics to make 2 kits!)
As an Army nurse veteran, I would much prefer the usual red, white and blue. To me those colors relate to serving our country as opposed to girly colors that don’t have the same significance.
Just my thought
