I’ve been busy this morning.
( my kids have half a day at school, so I may not get much done the rest of the day)
I have 3 owls ready to stuff!
and I made 4 more snap bags.
I do find that the snaps don’t close 100%, I guess that’s normal!??
they are still useful and cute 🙂
Now I have a question for you!
Non-quilting related.
Do any of you have a memory foam mattress that you sleep on? and how do you like it?
we have a regular spring mattress and after reading for a long time now that you should get a new mattress every 7 or 8 yrs and how much body fluids and dead skin gets into the mattress, I’m totally grossed out…. otherwise there’s nothing wrong with our mattress, it served us well. it’s just OLD!

We bought a new mattress a couple of years ago, and we hate it. Just cover your old one with a mattress cover so the cooties can't get you…………..giggling a lot.
So, so cute! Love your owls and bags.No memory around here, even in the foam. I think you just need to bring your own pillow and try some demos out! As far as old sets go, you'll keep shedding and they'll keep crawling. So, the new expensive foam would also get the cooties, in other words. Can't win! Plastic totally encasing zip covers are recommended I think to keep the count down.
Love the owls and the bags. We need a new mattress too, badly, but we hav't found the time to shop for one properly without the kidlets. I do recommend a mattress cover but you can get ones that are softer than plain plastic and totally washable.
Love my memory foam mattress. We miss it when we are away from home more than a couple of nights. Took a bit to get used to but both of us sleep so much sounder.
I just love your owls – they are darling and their eyes are just too cute. We bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress and we love, love, love it. Our mattress was 18 years old. LOL. Now if I wake up at all at night, my only thought is, "I love this bed!" Some people say it sleeps hot, but I haven't found that to be the case and it gets HOT in NM.
I love your little owls.
I've been told that if I get a memory foam mattress I won't have to sleep in a recliner anymore. (from another quilter who had to sleep in a recliner until she bought a memory foam mattress.)
