I was notified yesterday that I was posting today, so I’m sorry for not doing this early morning today- but better late than never right
The Island Batik Ambassadors have been posting Furry Fridays to help feature animals all over the country that need a fur-ever home. The Petfinder website helps you locate the purr-fect pet by allowing you to search by location, age, gender, and type of animal.
Today I’ll show our recent addition to the family that we got from the local animal shelter!
I posted this on instagram the other day.
This is Swiffer!
an adult male cat we got last September and he’s fitting in well in the family.
When I’m up sewing in my studio and the little ones are up here too, he’s up here too
(he now have a basket to sleep in on the shelf)
If I’m in the kitchen and the window, he sits here in the window, he can watch me cook and also the chickens outside.
As Island Batik ambassadors we all made kennel quilts recently.
I made 3 and dropped them off at the local animal shelter
I decorated the applique and top stitched the quilts using the Aurifill threads we got in our Island Batik box.
Thanks to both Island Batik and Aurifil threads for sponsoring this event.
Bea,Love your Kennel Quilts and the Two Cuties (two and four footed) in your post! Thank you.
Glad you got this post in…laughed at your design wall addition. My cat loves to climb my design…drives me crazy!
