funky friends, mug rugs etc.

This week fabrics from Tonya (Ozark fabrics) arrived! yay…. lots of goodies, here they are all washed and ready to be ironed, and then CUT INTO!

I also finished these mug rugs for my kids teachers.

AND a few coasters for the craft show this weekend, I do want to make another set or two of these.

Yesterday, these fabrics arrived for Quilt it today, though I’m missing one fabric, so I can’t into them until they arrive.

Monday I spent online doing the blog hop while my daughter was home from school with pink eye! While doing the hop, I saw someone make these platypus(es) from funky friends

so I googled it and found this pattern.

this platypus is SO cute…. he reminded me of Perry from Phineas and Ferb.

So yesterday I bought the pattern and cut out fabrics for 2 girls and 2 boys

today I finished them with black felt eyes and using perle cotton I sewed them on

They are SO cute



Today Sonja had a little fun on the play mat, she actually flipped over too
