I recently finished this fun scrappy version of by pattern called Sweet Dreams
This quilt measures 36″ x 36″ and is made using the 6″ QUBE set
I don’t know why the picture is blurry, but it shows the scraps I cut out, I used black instead of burgundy, then a white print instead of beige, peach instead of pink and also light purple, then purple instead of red and blue instead of peach, plus then I added a light blue as the inner border and for the binding.
for the center black squares I used the same cat fabric and with all the blocks, and for the star blocks the white print was this lemon grey print on white for the background fabrics.
I also tried to have the fabrics be right side up.
It was really a fun quilt to make and a fun color combination, but if it’s a baby quilt, should it go to a boy or a girl?? and what baby quilt has black in it? well I still like it, maybe it can go to hospice where they often need smaller quilts!
Here’s what the pattern looks like and it comes in 2 sizes plus has a chart on the last page for other QUBE sets so the blocks can be made smaller or larger, depending on the QUBE set you want to use
I also have the fall kits still available for this pattern in both sizes!
It’s such a versatile pattern, take a look at the different quilts I’ve made with the pattern before
ok, I love them all, but especially how changing the corner square color changes the look in the last quilt. 😉
