I have so many favorite scrappy quilt patterns!
Here’s another one that’s fun to make!
FRUIT CAKE
Skill Level: Exp. Beginner
Get out the scraps and make this fruit cake quilt. This is a great project to work on between projects, enjoy the process of matching up 4 different scrap fabrics in each block.
Finished sizes: 34” x 42”, 50” x 66”, 66” x 74”, 82” x 98”
Finished Block size: 8”

1 1/4yd, 3 1/2yds, 4 1/2yds, 8 1/2yds
B- Solid White
1/8yd, 1/4yd, 1/2yd, 1/2yd
C- Inner Border
1/4yd, 1/2yd, 1/2yd, 5/8yd
D- Outer Border
1/2yd, 1yd, 1 1/8yd, 1 1/4yd
Binding
3/8yd, 5/8yd, 5/8yd, 3/4yd
Batting
38” x 46”, 54” x 70”, 70” x 78”, 86” x 102”
Backing

Quilt can be made with the 4” and 8” QUBE sets by Accuquilt.
Here’s a pattern where I DID NOT use the 6″ QUBE but instead I used the 4″ and the 8″ QUBE set and it’s SEW much fun to make these scrappy blocks!!
With the main quilt, I only had a rule of keeping the center square of each block white, the rest was random, I even added a scrappy binding!!
Then I tried to make more of a planned scrappy quilt in red white and blue and black star tips and I kept the center of the blocks grey. It turned out fun as well, but I think I like the super scrappy one better!!
